This week, Godot & Fils is offering for sale a lot of 3 coins from the numismatic cabinet of the famous parent agency on rue Vivienne. The latter consists of rare antique and modern coins.
The coins are accompanied by their original certificates of authenticity dating from the 1960s, signed by experts Georges de Poplavsky and Roland Barthold.
The lot comprises :
- A coin of Emperor Claudius (41-54 AD), a silver cistophore minted between 41 and 42 in Ephesus or Pergamum
- A tetradrachm of the kingdom of Babylonia minted in Babylon in the years 328-323 BC
- A set of two Serbian coins : a 10-dinar coin and a 20-dinar coin of King Milan IV, minted in Vienna in 1882
Whether you're a regular collector or a hobbyist, this is your chance to add to or start a collection of fine coins, each with their original period certificates of authenticity, giving them added value.
